We spent a lovely first week in Kathikas at Melina 2 before moving to
Lemesos for a week and a family wedding.
Savvas was there within half hour to
show us how everything worked and pass on useful info about the area.
The welcome pack was excellent and
very useful after a long journey with 3 hungry kids.
Villa and pool clean and well
maintained. Garden great and safe for kids with enclosed walls.
Very little light polution so we spent
a few nights with a glass or two of wine lying on loungers
staring up at the beautiful starry
sky. Villa secluded and peaceful but still within walking distance
to lovely village centre. Thanks for a

Fantastic villa in a lovely location. Pretty little village wawy from
the touristy areas.
Locals very friendly
and the villa owners were very nice and left us things to eat and drink
on our arrival.
We were left little presents of wine
and fruit during our stay. The villa itself was very clean and the pool
was large and the
general area was very well looked after. I would advise hiring a car to
explore the area and
a trip to Coral beach is to be
recommneded as the water is so warm anmd safe to swim in. If I was to
come back
to visit Cyprus,
I would definately stay in this villa again.

The villa exceeded expectations. Savvas welcomed us shortly after our
arrival and provided us with useful tips about the villa. The welcome
pack was generous and the location of the villa excellent, not
overlooked by other villas. Everything we needed was provided. A most
enjoyable experience and we were all sad to leave.

We stayed in Melina 2. Wow what a wonderful place, we have never
stayed in a Villa before, but this was beyond our wildest dreams, from
the moment we arrived it was wow -wow. The first time we had been on
holiday as a family - we had such a super time. The villa made it for
us - so much space and everything we could ever want, so clean and
luxurious, the welcome pack was superb, the quality of the Villa, the
village and the Tarvenas, it was absolutely magic, our granddaughter
enjoyed the pool and so did we - everyday. Looking forward to seeing
you again soon.

I have stayed in villas before but this was truly the best ever.
Wonderful clean villa with beautiful scenery. The pool was great and I
am already missing the villa, the views and Cyprus. The owners of the
villa are very friendly and helpful as are all the Cypriot people. 6
adults stayed and there was more than enough room for 2 more. I will
definitely return. Thank you Savvas and family for such a great time.

Fantastic country, fantastic people, fantastic villa! We could not have
wished for more from our first visit to Cyprus. The local tavernas
(especially Yiannis) offered a warm welcome at very reasonable prices.
The villa met all our requirements and more and the welcome pack was
very welcome! Grateful thanks to Savvas and his family for such warm
hospitality and we will certainly be coming back.

WOW if you want a villa holiday this is the perfect place!!! Big
swimming pool, huge kitchen with the usual equipment but with added
extras, 3 outside dining areas, BBQ over looks the coast! WOW this is a perfect villa. Truly Amazing.

we have just come back from staying at Melina 1 two days ago and
all I can say is WOW I felt like a we were staying in a mansion and I
was a celebrity it was fantastic ,clean, spacious and well equipped def
going back next year might even book it for my honeymoon thank you

We had never had a villa holiday before and I was a bit
apprehensive about what to expect. NO PROBLEM!!! We stayed at Melina 2
and could not have been made to feel more welcome if we had been
staying with our own family. The villa was spotless and the welcome
pack was much more than we expected. Being out of the way - slightly -
meant that out 3 year old grandson could be as noisy as he liked
without upsetting the neighbours. It was a fabulous place and I hope we
can return at some point.

Our party of 6 really enjoyed our time at Villa Melina 1. We
found the villa to be spotlessly clean, spacious and very well placed
for the local restaurants and shop. The mountain air was clean and
fresh and the pool, although the water was cold and bracing in October,
was large and more than suitable for swimming or playing.
The villa was within easy access for Paphos, Limassol and the beaches
of Pissouri and Coral
Bay. The local
people were friendly as were Savvas and Melis, the owners. The welcome
pack on arrival is the best we've ever experienced. We were so
impressed with our stay that we have already booked the same week next
year!

A very big thank you/Efharisto to Mr and Mrs Melis and Savvas
for a wonderful stay in the exceptionally well-equipped villa. It was
spacious enough for 2 families, in addition to friends and family
coming to visit for barbeque lunches and drinks. The location is
superbÂ…away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and
‘compound of villas’ so that our boisterous girls could have their
singing competitions and ‘shows’ to their hearts’ content without
worrying about neighbours. At the same time it was close enough to
beaches and the main town of Paphos.
The vista from our rooms was vineyards as far as the eye can see and
behind a small winery; we became very good customers!
Kathikas village itself also boasts a couple of tavernas that made it
to the Time-Out Cyprus ‘best Tavernas’ and it’s local shop is well
stocked for basics. Kathikas is also a hill-side village so you are bit
protected from the scorching August sunshine.
The family was incredibly hospitable from Mrs Melis sharing some of her
produce to offers to take us out in lieu of our fatherÂ’s 70th
birthday.
Overall, a great villa and location from which to explore the Akamas Peninsula,
surrounding villages and basically to get a feel for a Cyprus
that is not yet totally taken over by commercial developments.
This was our second stay in the Melina-Villas and we are already
planning next year.

We had a fantastic holiday. We have stayed in villas in Portugal and Cyprus and without doubt,
this is was the best villa, but also the best service. Knowing
that the owners are local and they genuinely have an interest in
ensuring you enjoy yourself made a big difference. Kathikas is a quiet
location but you have a local shop and a selection of good tavernas
within walking distance, but Paphos is only 25 minutes in the car and
the quiet beach at Latchi only 15 minutes.
We had a great time, the website is 100% accurate and we will defiantly
look at booking again in the future.

The Melina 2 Villa offers beautiful views of the vineyards and other
surrounding areas. Melina 2 was secluded which is what we wanted in
order to have a chill out holiday as well as basking in the Cyprus
sun.
As the Web site mentions (it says it all!), the villa was of high
quality standard, comfortable and within a reasonable price along with
providing us with first class service. The villa is very spacious and
the pool was heaven sent, especially for the children.
The village
of Kathikas is a
very tranquil place with very friendly locals and a small shop for all
requirements as well as having a restaurant.
If anyone has any questions about our stay at Melina Villa 2, please
contact me as all the family fell deeply in love (especially my 7-year
old daughter) with the villa as well as the surrounding areas and we
have photographs (which we keep looking at) of the villa as well as the

WE STAYED AT MELINAS 2 IN JUNE 05 AND HAD A LOVELY HOLIDAY. THE VILLA WAS WELL EQUIPPED AND VERY
COMFORTABLE. SAVVAS AND HIS FATHER MELIOS WERE VERY WELCOMING. THE
LOCATION WAS GOOD BEING ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF THE VILLAGE BUT WITHIN WALKING
DISTANCE OF MOST OF THE TAVERNAS. SITUATED BETWEEN POLIS AND PAPHOS IT
IS IDEAL FOR TOURING THE AREA. BY DAY IT HAD LOVELY SEA VIEWS AND IN
THE EVENING WE WOULD SIT IN THE KIOSK AND WATCH THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS.
ALL IN ALL WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND YES WE ARE BOOKED IN FOR TWO WEEKS
AGAIN NEXT YEAR.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VILLA.
